Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld is the principal health care provider at Oceanside Family Dental. She has been part of the Oceanside community since 1994. After receiving her doctorate she graduated from the Advanced Placement program at the New York University Dental School. She then completed a two-year residency as an intern and as chief resident at Peninsula Hospital Center. She also received extensive and advanced training during a two-year program in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry at New York University. The curriculum included surgical techniques for dental implants, as well as implant prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Rosenfeld received postgraduate training in advanced periodontal therapy at Bronx/Montefiore Medical Center.
She holds membership in the American Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, Association of Women Dentists, Crown Council, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
She maintains an integral role in local organizations such as UJA, Hadassah, and the Central Council of the Board of Education for her children's school. When not at the office Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld spends time with her husband and two daughters in their Hewlett home.

Dr. Ron Kaminer graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and then completed a two year post graduate residency at North Shore University Hospital. He has been practicing in Oceanside since 1993.
Having always prided himself on being ahead of the curve and state-of-the-art care, Dr. Kaminer was one of the first 100 dentists in the U.S in 1993 to use a hard tissue laser in his practice. Since then, Dr. Kaminer went on to create training courses for numerous Dental laser companies and is considered to be an international laser expert by his peers. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics relating to Dental Lasers, technology and minimally invasive Dentistry.
He is a clinical consultant for many manufacturers and is an associate editor for the Dental Product Shopper magazine. He does all this while practicing an average of 42 hours per week. Dr Kaminer prides himself in giving his patients the best of state-of-the-art care Dentistry has to offer.
He has also a few Hollywood credits to his name as the sound from the movie "Novocaine" was shot in his office. He has also appeared on the Lifetime channel as a Dental expert and has been featured in MSN Money and the Orlando Sentinel. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and numerous other Dental organizations. He also lives locally, with his wife and three children and serves on the board of numerous charitable organizations.

Dr. Thierry Abitbol has practiced the dental specialty of periodontics since 1990. He earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania and attended Boston University for his doctoral and postdoctoral training. As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Abitbol is an established expert in his field. Dr. Abitbol has also maintained high quality of patient care by combining private practice with other activities, which have included: a teaching position at New York University Dental School, lecturers presented nationally and internationally, scientific publications, and product development and research for a major dental materials company. Dr. Abitbol is an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. As with the board certification in periodontics, credentialing in the field of implant dentistry is awarded to a handful of professionals who have passed rigorous written and oral examinations. When he is not practicing Dr. Abitbol likes to spend time at his Hewlett home with his wife and two children.
