Ron Kaminer, DDS
Dr. Ron Kaminer is a 1990 graduate of the State University of NY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After completing a two year post graduate residency at North Shore University Hospital, Dr. Ron Kaminer started practicing in Lawrence, where he practiced for over 12 years before moving to his state-of-the-art Hewlett location.
Having always prided himself on being ahead of the curve and state-of-the-art care, Dr. Kaminer was one of the first 100 dentists in the U.S in 1993 to use a hard tissue laser in his practice. Since then, Dr. Ron Kaminer went on to create training courses for numerous Dental laser companies and is considered to be an international laser expert by his peers. He has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics relating to Dental Lasers, technology and minimally invasive Dentistry. He is a clinical consultant for many manufacturers and is an associate editor for the Dental Product Shopper magazine. He does all this while practicing an average of 42 hours per week.
Dr. Kaminer prides himself in giving his patients the best of state-of-the-art care Dentistry has to offer. He has also a few Hollywood credits to his name as the sound from the movie "Novocaine" was shot in his office. He has also appeared on the Lifetime channel as a Dental expert and has been featured in MSN Money and the Orlando Sentinel. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and numerous other Dental organizations. He also lives locally, with his wife and three children and serves on the board of numerous charitable organizations.
Jessica Klein, DDS
Dr. Klein achieves clinical excellence in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry for patients of all ages. She is an avid user of both digital and laser technology to help improve the dental and oral health of her patients. Dr.Klein is Invisalign certified and can provide minor tooth movement through clear aligners to help create the perfect smile.
Dr. Klein has been praised by her patients for her gentle touch and pleasant disposition. She believes that it is important to take the time to listen to her patients and ensure that they feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair.
Dr. Klein is committed to staying current on the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. She believes that continuing education is important for both her and her patients. Dr. Klein recently completed a yearlong mini residency in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University. This specialized training gives her expertise in creating dental appliances to treat both snoring and sleep apnea, creating overall health and well-being for her patients.
Dr. Klein earned her doctorate in dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed a general practice residency at the NJ Veterans Hospital in Lyons, NJ where she had the opportunity to learn from a variety of specialists and be involved in both challenging and complex cases. Dr. Klein graduated with a B.A. in Neuroscience from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York City.
Esther Penn, DDS - Prosthodontist
Dr. Esther Penn is passionate about changing lives through meticulous comprehensive Dental care. After graduating SUNY @ Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, Dr Penn completed a one-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish medical center. In a desire to pursue a degree in Prosthodontics, Dr Penn continued her studies at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. After receiving her Prosthodontic degree, Dr. Penn stayed on at the V.A. for a second specialty degree in Maxillo- facial Prosthetics. This program offered her advanced training and clinical expertise in all aspects of full mouth rehabilitation and implant Dentistry while mastering the art of complete prosthodontic care. Dr. Penn is in an elite class of a small number Maxillo- facial Prosthodontists nationwide. She has been practicing Prosthodontics for over 25 years and is a respected author and key opinion leader.
Dr. Jonathan Lewis
Dr. Lewis comes to Breezy Point and the Five Towns by way of Philadelphia. After graduating from Touro Dental school, Dr. Lewis practiced in the Philadelphia area providing high level care to adults and children. Dr. Lewis brings a vast level of expertise to our practices. Besides all routine dentistry such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and dentures, Dr. Lewis brings a strong surgical experience to our practices. He excels in dental extractions and implant placement and restoration. Furthermore, Dr Lewis certified in Invisalign, allowing him to straighten smiles right here in our practice.
He lives with his family in Inwood, Ny and is excited to bring his expertise to the Breezy community and the entire Rockaway Peninsula!
Dr. Daniel Schinazi
Dr. Daniel Schinazi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University, College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in Periodontics & Implantology. Dr. Schinazi was rewarded the Quintessence award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics, as well as the Bernard Rudner award for comprehensive care and clinical excellence. Dr. Schinazi continued his post doctorate training in Periodontics & Implantology at NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Schinazi prides himself on comprehensive patient care, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and a compassionate approach to patient needs. Dr. Schinazi is continuously staying up to date with innovative technology & techniques in order to provide individualized & advanced care for his patients. Some of which include, the minimally invasive laser technology, LANAP, for treating gum disease and failing implants.
In his free time, Dr. Schinazi enjoys spending time with his wife and three small children, playing basketball, listening to music and traveling.
