Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld

Dr. Melissa Rosenfeld has practiced dentistry in Oceanside since 1994. She is the principal health care provider at Oceanside Family Dental. Dr. Rosenfeld graduated from the Advanced Placement program at the New York University Dental School after receiving her doctorate. She then completed a two-year residency as an intern and as chief resident at Peninsula Hospital Center. She also received extensive and advanced training during a two-year program in Comprehensive Implant Dentistry at New York University. The curriculum included surgical techniques for dental implants, as well as implant prosthetic reconstruction.

Dr. Rosenfeld received postgraduate training in advanced periodontal therapy at Bronx/Montefiore Medical Center. She holds membership in the American Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, Association of Women Dentists, Crown Council, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She maintains an integral role in local organizations such as UJA, Hadassah, and the Central Council of the Board of Education for her children's school.

Dr. Rosenfeld lives in Hewlett with her husband and two daughters.
